This clock is unlike any traditional clock you have seen before. This clock does not have a single number on its face, just the days of the week. It's a clock specifically designed for those who don't have to worry about punching in or out at work, who don't have to report for meetings at a specific time, who aren't tethered to a day planner and who need only remember which day to head to the golf course or grandkids house.
The Classic Oak DayClock is a unique and fun gift idea that also has a funtional side as it can help people keep track of the days.
It's brilliantly simple in its design. The face of the clock is divided into seven segments, each representing a day of the week. The line dividing each of the segments represents midnight, and the midway point of each day, noon, is represented by a small dash mark in the middle of each day. The 'day hand' will make one full revolution every 168 hours representing the passing of another week
The DayClock is the creation of Mark Pierce and John Kallestad. The inspiration for the greatest retirement gift was born in the middle of the Black Rock Desert of Nevada in July. Mark and John had been on vacation for more than a few days knowing their wives would be arriving to meet them on Friday.
The trouble was they didn't know what day it was and their wristwatches only gave them the date, which didn't help. After several beers around the campfire the design for the DayClock was hatched. The outcome was a clock, which gave them the only vital information they needed - what day is it anyway?!
The patented DayClock helps you keep track of the days of the week, with a special notch to determine when it's noon.
The day hand moves automatically - making a complete revolution around the face once a week. Set it once and you'll never have to set it again!
